Would shining a bright blue or green LED light into your eyes for light therapy for 20 minutes be dangerous?

This question deals with blue or green LED lights especially, and they are anywhere from an inch to 12 inches away from the eyes. I’m talking about a little LED light like this in particular – http://www.light-reviews.com/inova_microlight/
Would this be dangerous, could this cause permanent eye damage? I realize there is a blue light hazard, but does the same also apply to green? Light therapy seems to be beneficial for people with depression or sleep disorders, and has helped me. But I need something more portable, so thought I’d ask. What would be a safe level of lux for light therapy up close, especially about an inch from the eyes?
