I use a halogen desk lamp. I use sun glasses, they are not dark glasses though, they are almost rose colored glasses. I feel a good difference. I have never tried the real light therapy. I hope this works for you.
There are light bulbs available for all types of fixtures – they are usually called "full spectrum" bulbs or "Grow Lights." There are all sorts of suppliers on the Internet, and even places like Home Depot, Lowes, and many local hardware stores carry them.
