Good information about those conditions.
Yes, you do look rather bright there….lol. Do you use a digital camera to record your videos?
I usually use my macbook webcam to record. It was unusually bright when I recorded there though.
I see.
I just have my digital camera. The picture quality isn’t as good as your videos….lol.
Amen! I grew up in a dark house, at the bottom of a hill in New Hampshire. My mother and I had SAD every year for over a decade. As soon as I turned 20, I moved to Sacramento,CA and later San Francisco. I have never had SAD since. Keep your home well lit and get out often.
the list is not endless but it is large enough to seem overwhelming to many. I took responsibility for treating myself and my life as an experiment, and very deliberately learned how to control all those factors. Diet, life circumstances, vitamins, amino acids, stress management, intensive aerobics which increases neurotransmitters naturally. Depression free for over a decade now
SAD is completely preventable. I say this as someone that is intimately familiar with it. My suicide attempts came like clockwork at the end of winter for years. 6 years of hot Sacramento sun, no winter, no snow, no clouds or rain for 180 days at a time. No SAD either!
Also St.John’s Wort never dented my depression at all.
I’m glad you’re feeling better, sweetie! *hugs!*
your videos are compelling.
keep up the good stuff. i hope you feel a lot better soon. i’m getting really nervous about the fall and winter, seeing as july, nov and december are big trigger months for me. i live in the pacific northwest like you and i suffer from bipolar disorder and i think SAD too. i want to move to tucson or somewhere bright! wanna come? lol
u rele shud update ur videos lol
in scandinavia there’s a lot of people who get depressions.. because their lack of sun is even bigger… especial north of the artic circle, where the sun doesn’t rise for several days (i don’t know, i think even month)
sun gives off uv and atural vitamin e like insted of giving a newborn artificial vit e they put them under uv rays..johndice did i spell that right? anyways ya the sun and watching cartoons and trimming your toenails and wiping a runnynose cause cancer but i live in souther california and oh yes people love the sun its great for you and the doctor told me to take my daughter with jaundice out in the sun for a few minutes at a time all day to get rid of her jaundice
