Therapeutic Cure With Laser Light Therapy

One of the safest and painless treatments available today is Laser light therapy and is used more and more to encourage healing, while at the same time offering a safe pain relief for a wide variety of conditions. A question about cosmetology? It's about skin care?

I have asked this a while back but I just wanna make sure. Okay, so I want to go to this beauty school. They have two educational programs; Cosmetology and Esthetics. I want to go for Cosmetology. They say in the Cosmetology program that they perform "esthetics such as skin treatments and makeup application", but I think they only do facials and that’s it. :S While in the Esthetics page, they say how they teach you about advanced facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser and light therapy, mask therapy, non-therapeutic massage, tweezing, waxing and makeup application.

Do cosmetologists do all that above? Or do they just clean the skin and that’s it? Thank you!

Would I need to be a Physicians Assistant, Nurse Practician, ect. to work with a Plastic Surgeon?

I live in Salt Lake City, Utah and my main goal is to work side-by-side with a Plastic Surgeon. I have always been extremely interested in Laser Scar Removal, Botox, Breast Agmentation, Rhinoplasty, Lipodissolve, ect. I would also like to maybe do some reconstructive work for burn victums.
My plan as of lately is to get my foot in the door by going to school to be a Master Medical Esthetician, not to be confused with a simple Esthetician (many states don’t offer this license, but Utah is one of the few who do.) Master Medical Estheticians learn all the normal Esthetics as well as extensive training on the Medical side of things; Micodermabrasion, LED light therapy, laser hair removal, botox, ect. Once I have this license, I plan on trying my best to get as good of a job as I can in this field with the economy being as crappy as is it right now, then get all of my general ed. out of the way by doing online courses.
Then my plan is to go to the University of Utah to study something in the medical field that would allow me to work side-by-side with, or under the insurance of, a Plastic Surgeon, but I’m not sure what degree would allow me to do this! Would it be a Physicians Assistant? A Nurse Practician? Something else?
If anyone know the answer to this or if anyone thinks this is a horrible way to go about doing things, please feel free to share.

What is the best acne scar treatment to remove my scars?

I have severe acne scars and would like to know what is the best acne scar treatment to remove scars?
I heard about acne blue light therapy. Does it really work? I was advised to remove my scars using Laser resurfacing but it is too expensive for me.

Can anyone help with acne skin problems?

OK, so I’m 23 and have the skin of a 13 year old (in a bad way! haha!) It’s not massively greasy, and that’s not a worry either way, but I get a LOT of spots, I guess it classes as adult acne. I get huge spots that erupt on my forehead and chin along with medium spots, tiny, rash like spots and the ubiquitous blackheads. This doesn’t happen at any particular time of the month/when I’m stressed etc, it just happens all the time! I spend a fortune on skincare and nothing, thus far, has helped. I’m getting to the end of my tether and am thinking of trying light laser therapy to get rid! So my question is, has anyone found a miracle cure/something that’s worked very well for them; or have you had laser therapy and can comment on the effectiveness of that?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Red light treatment at salon?

Today I went to a salon for my first facial and she started using this handheld device with red lights on the end and it was attached to a control panel. When she put the thing on my face it felt like I was being shocked and I asked her what it was and she showed me the control panel and it was set to deep wrinkles. She saw that I was concerned and turned it down and went over my whole face. What was this thing? It actually worked on the spot where she had it set to deep wrinkles, I only have a smile wrinkle on my left side now. I just do not understand what the machine and lighting is doing, was it a laser? If it is only light therapy why does it feel like an electrical shock? I would like info on this thing before I go back and do my whole face on the deep wrinkle setting.

what credentials are needed to do chemical peels, microdermabrasion etc…?

I am going to school for CMT and plan to run my own spa. What credentials/education would i need to be able to do, light chemical peels, dermabrasion, minor laser therapy, permanent tattoos etc… and where do i find these schools. I do not want to do hair or anything like that, no cutting or anything, just work with skin and massage. It is becoming very popular now.

How to remove scars from cutting?

I used to be a cutter and now I have a bunch of scars. All I want more than anything is to get rid of them. I don’t care how expensive it is because having them is emotionally damaging. I’ve heard of something call light therapy or something that doctors do. Also laser or skin grafting? I’m already using all the creams and stuff, but I want them gone ASAP. Please help if you can, thanks!

Acne help???????????

I have used proactive and every other over the counter products and nothing works. Ive done laser/light therapy doesnt work, i went to the dermotoligist and nothing worked. Can someone help me …. P.S its really bad around the chin if that helps
