For around a year (I am 20) I have found it increasingly diffucult to keep my right eye in line with my left eye. My fiancee, parents, and friends have noticed it before and when they say something about it I can correct it. However, latley I can feel it and it tends to be happening alot more frequently. I looked it up online at the symptoms and my eye does drift outwards, I close that eye when exposed to bright lights, and I have been having difficulty reading and experiencing headaches more frequently and my eyes get strained easily.
I was just wondering if anyone knows what treatment options there are. I see that vision therapy is a popular one but I was wondering if I would be able to get glasses as well to assist me with reading (as I am a university student). I dont know if glasses will help me focus on reading or not. I realize that this will not treat it but would like to know if it would help with reading.

I have two different conditions called Arachnoiditis and Fibromyalgia. These are the outcome of having four back surgeries. First surgery was a discectomy, that rehurniated, within three days, leading to having a second disectomy, all in about 10 days. A year and a half I went in for my third surgery for a fusion. I was cut across my lower belly and up my spine, to be able to have titanium screws put in. I never felt good and started having worse pain then ever. They found one of the screws broke and needed replacing. So, into a fourth surgery that was very invasive. The screw had fallen further than expected from area. I recieved nerve and muscle damage. And, on with the pysical therapy and so on. Then came the Fibromyalgia. It’s been five years, this month, I had my last surgery, which makes it almost 7 years I have been dealing with this. Which doesn’t count the years I had suffered, before deciding to have the first surgery.
With all the pain, I have been having Restless Leg syndrom for long time. Supposely, from the nerve damage and ?????
However, I have been having these very hard jerks, about a year. They have worsen the past four months and even worse the last three weeks. They have gotten so bad I can hardly send a text message, without having to do it over and over, again. Same with this. I’m fixing to scream. It’s hard to hold stuff or stay focused.
And more than not, I fall to sleep right before or at the moment I jerk. Most times, my sleep is sound enough, I have dreams and/or wake up talking out loud. I can remember them, most of the time, and are ok and not real bed dreams. It’s like when you pass out and can still hear whats going on around you. I wake up talking out loud. I can hear words from/in my dream and can, always, hear myself having a conversation and this is where I seem to jerk and wake up.
In the beginining, they were worse at night, making it hard to fall aleep. The jerks left me with the feeling of falling or a carnival ride and tossed up stomach. The jerks continue when I am sleeping.
My children are very concerned. They said it is unreal what I do in my sleep. They said my arms thrash and, at times, my body about comes off the bed. I’m thinking, "did I EVER sleep"!!
It is worse when I am tired. I’m trying to sleep, then the jerks begin.
I get up no less than 4 times nightly. Usually, I will go sit and TRY to read. Before long, the book will drop or take a trip, in the air, from the jerk.
My whole body jerks, at the same time, or may be a hip down to my legs or up to my arms or legs all the way up. It’s crazy and driving me crazy. I’m exhausted from the lack of rested sleep.
I experience relentless chronic pain, with everything, for over 7 years. I take a handfull of medication daily. I haven’t started anything new and have read for side effect, but nothing mathes. In fact, I have read tons of info on other types jerking. But, nothing comes close to describing how I feel. Except once, I read somthing about Night Terrors. There have been times I’ve felt some of the same feelings. I see a bright light, either in my head or right after I’ve opened my eyes, for a second, and heard this loud boom. It feels painful, but it doesn’t last, or I end up with a slight headache.
At times, after real bad jerks, I feel a moment of confusion and short time of tingling or shock feeling. My fingers may stay numb a bit.
There is so much going on and have gotten so much worse and more often. Happens nightly and is getting more frequent while I’m awake. There is NEVER a time I can dose off without having jerks.
When I can’t sleep I sit on my toilet. Putting my feet on a short stool, so I can lean forward to help keep pressure off my back. At least, for a time, I can be somewhat comfortable to read. So many times, I’ve gone so sound to sleep I’ve fallen off or just about. Some of them have the bright light and boom, then jerk and wake up. Or I’m talking out loud into thin air.
I’m exhausted and do not know what to do. I have tried taking to my doctor. He says it’s the nerve damage and partly from the fibro. But, I have never had the time to go into this much explanation.
It may not be a big deal, except, now, I dread going to sleep. Part of me is tired of dealing with it and part feels fearful. I don’t know why. I’m not crazy, yet. But, have felt scared or like someone’s watching me or has been there, before I awake. Ok, I know that ’s wierd, so PLEASE, don’t give up on me!!!
I have to stop now. I wish I would have timed myself to show how long it took me to type this or how many times I’ve dosed off.
PLEASE
I will be glad to hear any answers, questions or opinions that are RESPECTFUL and on the subject. I will try to answer any questions with all I know and truthfully to help figure out what is going on. So, please ask!!!

I’m 17. 18 mnths ago I had a small breakdown after my best friend’s suicide attempt (and other stuff), and I didn’t know what was real and what was a dream.
I got on prozac, and I still take it now but I’m a lot better. No panic attacks or huge mood swings any more, & I quit therapy as well because I felt a lot more confident. I quit drinking a lot and cutting. For the last couple of months though, I’ve been seeing things.
Started off just seeing spots of colour, like when you look at a bright light, only not like that bc they only lasted a second & weren’t there when I closed my eyes. I didn’t worry. But then for the last month maybe, I’ve been seeing people as well as colours, like seeing my mom or my friends when they weren’t there. Now they walk around and sometimes don’t disappear until I walk into the space where they are, or leave the room. It’s so real, I react to them as if they’re there, but then realise they can’t be (because I see my mom in my classroom or my friend from my old school in my kitchen). Nobody else sees them. Sometimes I don’t realise it wasn’t real until I’ve been trying to talk to what I guess is an empty space for like a minute.
Is this hallucination? I’m not going to the doctor if it’s anything to do with a mental illness, because I’m not going through that therapy shit again, but if it could be a physical thing then I guess I should go :/

I have been doing alot of research on Astral Travel. I even tried, but it was always unsuccesful. For those who doesn’t know what is Astral Travel, Please take a look first.
Astral travel has been practised throughout history – and there have been thousands of documented scientific experiements confirming that astral travel is real.
People seek therapy because they ‘wake up paralyzed and rigid’ (sleep paralysis, a close component of astral travel) ‘Wake up and see strange beings around them’ (entities found in the astral plane) ‘Find themselves floating or vibrating violently, or engulfed in a bright light’ (sensations felt as the astral body leaves the physical body) Some people have even gone so far as to say their astral experiences are alien encounters.
I am also interested to know if its true. If u have any encounters, OR EVEN YOU HAD TRIED, please tell me more about it. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/astral_travel) check if u dont believe
